I did find that comment odd, considering that PS4 and Xbox One games are the same price.

I did not think either console was available anywhere. I have not seen any. I think it is way too early to declare either console the victor at this point.

Amazon has them for $59.96. I have noticed that PS3 and 360 games are going on sale, but there have not been any sales or lightening deals so far on Amazon. (Which is to be expected, given the demand)

So is there a US only one vs ps4 stat? I have not grabbed my ps4 yet as all my ass of friends wanted the one. Dont get me wrong. Its nice. Zero problems. I see on average 30k to 35k playing ghosts. 95% of that is US players. So I assume across the board most of their console base is US. Then tiny bits of Australia and Europe. They need to give up on Asia unless they can convince, you know **** it. Give up on Asia. |

Apparently Sony has sold 2.1 million PS4's worldwide in just 19 days. Already nearly halfway to the lofty 5 million console estimate they had set for March (pretty sure it was March).

Target last week was selling them as each store would get new stock of just 2 to 8 units and they typically unload the new inventory off their trucks at around 4-5pm each day. I talked to a few workers at a few of the stores and the limited number of new stock they would get in would be gone in like 20 minutes. Often times they wouldn't even be able to put the consoles out in the display cases as people would either already be hovering around the electronics checkout and waiting or people who were just shopping in the store would see the units coming out from the shipping area on the stock carts and immediately get one and follow the cart to electronics. A couple of employees said they'd been offered $50-$100 to hold back a unit for people interested in getting one when a new shipment arrived. They wouldn't do it as they had a meeting with their managers for all employees that worked in electronics and were told specifically under no circumstances could they reserve or put them on a hold for anyone including other Target employees or themselves or they would be immediately fired. Edit: see, Walmart already sent out a bunch of press releases and features on business and investment channels trotting out that this year was their most successful and profitable black Friday ever.

I don't know why sales numbers are really an arguing point of which system is better. Everyone knew that PS4 would sell more after Microsoft destroyed themselves at E3. Buying a system doesn't mean you KNOW that system is better. It's an opinion. I bought an Xbox One, does that mean I know without a shadow of a doubt that my system is better than a PS4? Of course not, I don't own one yet, that'll be the spring time when Infamous Second Son comes out. Sony has no excuse not to be winning right now, they launched a full week earlier. If they weren't winning then I'd wonder why.
Popularity doesn't always mean it's the better product. Case in point Apple, not every Apple product is a gift from God no matter what Apple fans want to tell you. I'm looking forward to Microsoft's actual numbers coming out, because if they sold a million across all their territories before Black Friday, and they had more sales than Sony at two of the larger retailers in the US on Black Friday, I would venture a guess that they're at 1.4 - 1.6 million total vs 2.1 of Sony, which would honestly be better than I thought Microsoft would be doing at this point. Definitely better than those crazy rumors of Sony beating Microsoft 2-1 or more. The resolution differences are an arguing point over which console is better, the extra voice features are an arguing point, but just because more people purchased something more than the people who purchased the other thing is pointless outside of those companies wallets getting bigger. |

I made a mistake.... I bought mine through Dell. When I made the purchase it stated it would be delivered by Nov 22nd. Still no XBOX. FU Dell... FU!!!! They keep pushing my delivery date out, and now it says delivered by Dec 31st. Lesson learned. Just warning you guys in case you think of using Dell in the future. They obviously oversold. Its just shitty that they stated it would be delivered by the 22nd and it still hasn't arrived.
