I don't think Haley has a choice. Pioli doesn't have the balls to admit when he made a mistake.

Scheffler wasn't a guy that saw eye to eye with McDaniels. Every Bronco fan knew in the middle of the season last year that Scheffler wasn't going to be resigned. Plus, McDaniels prefers blocking TE's and Scheffler could not do that.

In other words McDumbass doesn't like players who have more talent at what they do than he has at what he does.

Yes, it's great that these other guys have proven to be better than Smith.. but that doesn't mean much considering what they gave up to get him and how much he appears to suck. I'm also guessing that KnowMo didn't know who the fuck Gronkowski was before yesterday.

Knowmo, I saw this on twitter this morning.
"Every team in the league put in a claim today for every player Denver released."

Josh McDaniels, head coach, Denver: I presume he's the guy behind trading away a first-round pick for defensive back Alphonso Smith in the 2009 draft. Well, this just in: He dumped Smith for tight end Dan Gronkowski which means ... you spent a first-round draft pick on a tight end who was the 255th draft pick -- or next to last -- and who didn't fit in with the Lions, who cut him twice. Great. I also presume McDaniels was the genius behind signing defensive lineman Jarvis Green to that four-year, $20 million deal. It made sense because McDaniels and Green were on the same side in New England, so McDaniels had the book on the guy. Only he must have had the wrong one. Memo to McDaniels: Stick to coaching and leave personnel to somebody, anybody, else. Not from twatter.com |

Of course. They'd much rather have a TE who couldn't make the Lions than Earl Thomas, or for that matter Jermaine Gresham who was available at #14. Its all part of the master plan.
