Where's Direckshun? I'm going to go teabag him for calling me an idiot when he sent me a pick reminder.

Have you all tallied the bonus deduction for selecting an undrafted player? Can't win the draft if you're not sitting in the 100% clubhouse, drinking beers with Aviles.

The drafturbators are no longer controlled by the Four Horsemen. I am the new leader. May Reerun, CoMo, TRR, and Laz quake in terror whenever my name is mentioned. They are powerless, and prolonged exposure to reading my freakishly accurate and awesome draft projections will cause cancerous sores to form on their faces. Your days of riding the coattails of Mecca, Dane, Hamas, and OTW58 are over, Deez. You, like your father... are now.... MINE |

Cool. 100 points.
I win the mock, as Boss was trying to keep up with me like a flustered Nebraska academic. |

Okay, just for fun I went through and determined who was the master of the draft.
I did it as follows: 1. I calculated the number of draft points available, and what percentage of those points each team had. 2. I calculated the number of years as a starter each teams' draft produced, and the percentage of those years compared to all years in the draft class. 3. I calculated the number of pro bowls each team's draft produced, and the percentage of those pro bowls compared to all pro bowls produced by the draft class. (I then divided this number by 2 to normalize it a bit compared to the indices.) 4. I calculated the total Career AV each team's draft produced (per pro football reference), and the percentage of those AV points compared to all AV points produced the draft class. 5. I then produced an index that divides the bottom three percentages by the top one. This means that you were a winner if you produce larger portions of Career AV, pro bowls, and starting years than your portion of the available draft points. It's not a perfect indicator for a variety of reasons, but it gives us a measure. Specifically, I think it's a bit biased against teams that had high first-round picks, because I think those are overvalued in the draft points chart. Also, it doesn't consider positional value, so a team that drafts a solid right tackle gets equal credit compared to a guy who drafts a solid quarterback. You can decide on your own if you'd rank teams differently. Without further ado, here are the rankings from top drafting team to bottom drafting team. Code:
%DP %YrsSt %PBs %AV Index Rank PACKERS Total 1.78% 6.22% 10.00% 5.30% 3.096 1 RAVENS Total 2.04% 3.11% 7.14% 4.76% 1.867 2 FALCONS Total 2.03% 4.15% 2.86% 3.98% 1.572 3 JAGUARS Total 2.93% 4.66% 8.57% 4.72% 1.557 4 LIONS Total 3.20% 5.44% 7.14% 5.40% 1.500 5 DOLPHINS Total 2.26% 3.37% 5.71% 3.76% 1.472 6 RAIDERS Total 1.22% 1.81% 0.00% 2.63% 1.219 7 CHARGERS Total 3.19% 4.92% 2.86% 3.73% 1.052 8 BEARS Total 1.88% 2.85% 0.00% 2.86% 1.011 9 49ERS Total 3.97% 5.44% 2.86% 5.04% 1.001 10 BUCCANEERS 2.52% 1.55% 5.71% 2.57% 0.922 11 CHIEFS Total 2.40% 3.11% 0.00% 3.37% 0.902 12 PANTHERS Total 5.68% 4.92% 11.43% 4.34% 0.879 13 CARDINALS Total 4.35% 3.63% 7.14% 4.24% 0.876 14 REDSKINS Total 3.11% 3.37% 2.86% 3.18% 0.854 15 PATRIOTS Total 4.84% 4.92% 2.86% 4.95% 0.778 16 TITANS Total 3.73% 2.59% 4.29% 3.89% 0.770 17 BENGALS Total 4.60% 2.59% 8.57% 3.37% 0.743 18 COWBOYS Total 3.71% 4.15% 0.00% 3.34% 0.673 19 SAINTS Total 2.42% 2.07% 1.43% 1.93% 0.651 20 Vikings Total 3.06% 3.63% 0.00% 2.35% 0.650 21 BROWNS Total 4.21% 1.81% 5.71% 2.96% 0.603 22 STEELERS Total 1.79% 1.81% 0.00% 1.35% 0.588 23 BILLS Total 5.35% 4.40% 1.43% 4.02% 0.569 24 COLTS Total 2.34% 2.07% 0.00% 1.57% 0.520 25 TEXANS Total 3.48% 2.85% 0.00% 2.35% 0.497 26 RAMS Total 3.08% 2.59% 0.00% 1.83% 0.479 27 GIANTS Total 2.50% 1.55% 0.00% 1.67% 0.429 28 EAGLES Total 2.50% 1.30% 0.00% 1.70% 0.400 29 BRONCOS Total 6.35% 3.11% 1.43% 1.70% 0.290 30 SEAHAWKS Total 2.07% 0.00% 0.00% 0.84% 0.135 31 JETS Total 1.40% 0.00% 0.00% 0.29% 0.069 32 #1 Packers (SNR) The Packers held 1.78% of draft points, but produced 10% of pro bowl appearances, 6 percent of starting years, and 5 percent of career AV. Here's their draft. 1 32. PACKERS*(SNR)*Mike Pouncey, OG/OC, Florida 2 32.*PACKERS*(SNR)*DeMarco Murray, RB, Oklahoma 3 32. PACKERS*(SNR)*Chimdi Chekwa, CB, Ohio State 4 32. PACKERS*(SNR)*James Brewer, OT, Indiana 5 32. PACKERS*(SNR)*Chris Conte, FS, California 6 32. PACKERS*(SNR)*Tyrod Taylor, QB, Virginia Tech 7 1. PACKERS*(SNR)*Terrell McClain, DT/DE, South Florida 7 29. PACKERS*(SNR)*Ryan Whalen, WR, Stanford Pouncey and Murray have each made three pro bowls, while Tyrod has made one. He got contributors Chris Conte and Terrell McClain as well. #2 - Ravens (Direckshun) The Ravens held 2.04% of draft points, but produced 7% of pro bowl appearances, 3 percent of starting years, and 5 percent of career AV. Here's their draft. 1 26. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*JJ Watt, DE, Wisconsin 2 26.*RAVENS*(Direckshun)*Joseph Barksdale, OT, LSU 3 26. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*Niles Paul, WR, Nebraska* 4 26. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*Shareece Wright, CB, USC 5 13. REDSKINS*(Marco Polo)*Greg McElroy, QB, Alabama 5 24. REDSKINS*(Marco Polo)*Jah Reid, OT, Central Florida 6 12. REDSKINS*(Marco Polo)*Anthony Gray, NT, Southern Miss 6 26. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*Dwayne Harris, WR, East Carolina 7 19. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*Kevin Rutland, CB, Missouri 7 24. RAVENS*(Direckshun)*John Bender, G, Nevada Okay, the Ravens' value pretty much came from stealing JJ Watt near the end of the first round. But Dwayne Harris has a pro bowl appearance, and Joe Barksdale logged a few years as a starter. But realistically, this draft was a winner because of the late first rounder. #3 - Falcons (BossChief) The Falcons held 2.03% of draft points, but produced 3% of pro bowl appearances, 4 percent of starting years, and 4 percent of career AV. Here's their draft. 1 27. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa 2 27.*FALCONS*(BossChief)*Titus Young, WR, Boise State 3 27. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Shane Vereen, RB, Cal 4 27. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Julius Thomas, TE, Portland State 5 27. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Buster Skrine, CB, Chattanooga 6 27. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Shiloh Keo, SS/PR, Idaho* 7 25. FALCONS*(BossChief )*Jeremy Kerley, WR/PR, TCU* 7 26. FALCONS*(BossChief)*Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh This is a different model of winning. Thomas is the only pro bowler, but everyone else has contributed to their teams, and he got some late-round gems in Skrine and Kerley.

Here's the full list of draftees along with their draft points expended, years as starters, pro bowl appearances, and career AV. Sorry about the messy formatting.

That Packers draft is probably my finest work I've ever done at the CP Mock. I've had other decent drafts, but it will be hard for me to top that 2011 year.
