When was the last time anything unexpectedly good happened to this university's athletic department?

This is the kind of shit that only happens to Mizzou.

Better facilities, better donors, less competition for top recruits, fertile grounds, and they were offering a 70% increase in pay against a school that claims it was both tapped out, is harder to get into, is more remote, and that has almost no fan support.

And they lose. Does that happen to anyone else? No.

Agree, but if Bernie's fat fucking ass didn't get everyone so hyped up today we wouldn't have been so shocked by this.

I went into work today thinking we had about a 5% chance, then Bernie comes trotting out saying we should get ready to celebrate, he has already said yes to Alden, blah blah blah.

I seriously hope Bernie's career is ruined by this.
