Signing an abundance of free agents this locking up future money and trading picks for a veteran starting QB is a win now move.

We let an abundance of free agents leave and didn't replace them with other free agents, plugging said holes with players currently on the roster and relying on draft picks as unproven players to be successful.

You sign SOME FAs every year. The Big move was for Smith. I guess that says we want to play well this year, it also says, we have no QB, and we're not wasting our time with a washed up vet, or a rookie.

I think you're supposed to rely on draft picks to be successful. What player that left are you worried about replacing?

The one thing I would've done is sign a WR.

O.City, are you really mad about Dorsey being "inconsistent", or are you just mad we weren't active in FA?

I don't really give a damn about signin big free agents, it's tough to win that way.

Jumping from philosophy to philosophy isn't a way to be successful long term. Either way in itself is fine, but going from one to the other isn't.

We are relying on about 10 unproven players in order to be successful.

Individually, I don't think we really lost a player that's irreplaceable , but the chances that all the unproven players pan out is pretty much zero.

The old chiefs QB philosophy, don't waste time with a rookie.

We are? RG, TE, and FS are the spots where we have unproven players starting this season. And the rest will be contributors. I can't think of too many years you don't rely some unproven players.

You wanted a rookie QB last year? Were you a Geno guy?

How bout LT? Slot wr? Who's playing ilb next to DJ? With Reid's penchant for TE sets, who's our second TE?

We have 2 proven cb with one of this apparently on the trading block.
