“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.

“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.

The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”

In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.

The costume itself is another thing though... the cowl looks ridiculous especially how they're still making him wear eye shadow. Just like Man of Steel, the first trailer looked really, really promising but the closer and closer we get and the more they reveal about it, the more disappointing it looks.

The 2nd trailer tempered everything esp with the Doomsday surprise. Tonight on the CW supposedly a special on for 'dawn of the justice league' that will show more footage as well as a new Suicide Squad Trailer I believe after Flash.

The only thing I haven't liked so far is the Doomsday reveal, and I'm not entirely convinced that's not a red herring. Particularly not after the Bizarro rumors of a week or so ago.

Funny how it's been pointed out that the Batman costume really is more of the batsuit when Deathstroke was impersonating as Batman.

He definitely acted there but there was some good stuff. Flash looks incredible, also Green Lantern Corps coming soon and part of JL

So it appears that Batman has been around awhile.....So why no mention of Batman in the first MoS movie? Or why didnt he help out when Zod and Superman was arriving?
