We have to remember Thigpen was one of the few bright spots (abit dull) during a dark, dark era.
He had some of the dumbest, ancient offensive minds coaching him. It's amazing he accomplished what he did. |

I remember enjoying the 2008 season. The losing sucked, but it was fun watching after Thigpen took over. We all knew they were going young and trying to develop. I don't think I missed a game the whole season, as it was entertaining watching the spread offense be implemented on the fly. I think Herm was shit, but that was his most entertaining year. I missed several games over the Pioli years, just because it was so unwatchable. 2008 was not that (except for the season finale).

Just makes me think how great it is that the Bears took Trubisky at #2 and then we were able to trade up and grab Mahomes!
