--Explain what was so God Damned special about the best chicken wings you've ever had

Hi Guys,

Explain to me what was so damned special about the best buffalo wings you've/you'd ever had/tried.

-Where was it?

-Do you prefer a smaller wing or big fat wings?

-Any good blue cheeses or ranch dressings?

-Do you order regular or tell them 'extra crispy?'

-Flat or drum?

-I'd like some details.

-Drop links and pics...

-Do you like wet-naps, cloth or standard dinner napkins?

-Any beverage you prefer with wings?

-How many can you eat?

....What about the sauce ATOP the wings?

Is there still that one wing place in downtown Atlanta? Jimminy Crickets I think? They made good wings. Also Taco Mac used to have all you could eat wing night. Good times.

I grew up in Parkville but haven't lived there in about 20 years; I'll definitely have to give those a shot next time I'm back home. Never heard of the place. Those look just about perfect in terms of 'simple but right'...

EDIT: Oh - it's out by the National and the old VFW; there was a mexican joint out there that was acceptably average for years; Rancho Grande. It's funny, but I never even really think of that area being Parkville. To me, Parkville's the river bottoms and the rest is just...I dunno, unincorporated kinda Kansas City.

Wings N Things in San Diego is my favorite.

Used to be a SPorts bar in San Diego that had the hottest I've ever had (which I like).

They literally were so hot, I would break out in a sweat, eating them. Delicious too.

Yip - J.R. Crickets - I was saying earlier - Hadn't been there since they had one on the north side back in the early nineties. They're all on the SW side of things, now.

I like this spot off of N. Druid Hills Rd and Buford Hwy across from the Pink Pony called International Cafe. Taco Mac wings are solid still, yes.

My kids like the boneless wings from wingstop on Chouteau Trwy. They always ask for the hickory bbq sauce. I tried it and was so damn sweet I had to get the go chicken go dipping sauce out and I was fine.

What's the best way to order them at Peanuts? Any particular sauce that's good?

The one time I went to Wingstop the wings were total dog shit. May have just been a bad location though

There are no options, they just do them one way. I suppose you could make a special request if you wanted them dry or something though. One thing to consider, since they're whole wings (drum and flat connected), 6 would be 12 at places that separate them.

Yeah, my Wingstop is shit, but more likely due to staff/management. Wings are loaded to the gills with sodium and soggy fries.
