Denise, here's your warning...

We have a longstanding policy here that if you're not contributing to the football board at all, you're not a productive member.

I just ran a cross-section of your posts, and you've talked less football in the last few months than ClearVision.

You yourself said you're just not passionate about football anymore. A quick glance at your posts suggest that if you're that narrowly focused on human interest stories and politics, there's better bulletin boards for you to frequent.

And before anyone comes running in screaming about how unfair this is, it's happened before. We've banned multiple people under this very same premise.

With attacks and nasty barbs in the face of evidence to the contrary. I’m start’n to understand your staunch defense of’er.

why you just go ahead a say "ban all the liberals" and get done with it.

There's nothing transparent about it. You're attaching a motive that simply doesn't exist.

As for the Mod job, I'm working on it right now. Once again, you demonstrate only ignorance. There's no "switch" to turn off mod/not mod status...

I am not defending Denise's actions but some of the things that are said to her IMHO are way over the line. I think someone calling her a terrorist or wishing their kids dead is crossing the line. Maybe you don't but I do.

Ringleader was the very definition of a troll. The guy almost never posted in the Lounge.

That's blatantly and utterly false.

Only 2 of the current 4 mods have tenure. 2 of them have been mods for less than 2 years, and one of them really isn't involved in being a mod, they're involved in keeping the site running.

Your comments are ignorant and have no basis in fact.

But you don't have to worry about it. I'm in the process of removing my mod status.

I love how Parker's the bad guy when he's the one who found a way to justify Denise staying.

Take off the squabble goggles for a second and you'll realize what I'm talking about.

You're the second person to see it for what it is.

DENISE was actually the first. How ironic.

My point is that a lot of the people who are bitching about her "tactics" are really just bitching about her message. They are using the "troll policy" as cover. What's funny is that some of them actually believe it.

I don't know all the specifics of who you've banned in the past, but in my view I've never seen her cross the line any more than some of the other regulars around here. Like I said, maybe she's done something in the past few days that truly goes beyond the pale (I'm not on the board 12 hours a day like some people), but in my experience around here the only people that cross the line are those that heap god-awful abuse on her no matter what she does. Even when she does post on a noncontroversial topic you usually get a few trolls who jump on and start saying things to her that they'd never say to her face.

I don't know why she's stayed as long as she has. I would have written off some of the worst abusers as insufferable bullies and left a long time ago.

Like I said before, the forum owners and/or mods can do what they want. But don't be so naive to think that the primary motivation here is that Denise somehow fell below some magical "football post ratio".

banning DEnise should of never been as issue

she's not even remotely "troll"

this is strictly about people who can't stand her political beliefs forming a lynch mod to try and get her booted.
