Who is your favorite guitarist?

Accept no substitutes. I love an astonishingly high percentage of his music. I can't say that about every artist in my collection.

Ah, there are so, so many that I could name. But if I have to name just one.....

John Petrucci
George Lynch
Stevie Ray Vaughn

Ok, that's 3. Hey, I could only narrow it down that far.

I like Lifeson. But I would hardly say that nobody even comes close. That's the fanboy in you talking. That's okay, though. Eveyone's tastes are different and that's what makes us all unique.

Nice find. I love my Gary Hoey Christmas cds. The guy does the Christmas songs in many different styles. He's a well polished guitarist. My bud here at work has that Focus cd with Hocus Pocus. I will have to show him this Gary Hoey version. I'm sure he will get a kick out of it.

Nice looking guitars.

I have a few guitars myself. I can't post pics of the actual things because I am not at home.

My LP is not exactly like this one. It is black and the pick guard is a little different. But it's basically the same.

This one is similar to my B.C. Rich New Jersey series Rich Bich. The shape is the same but the headstock, neck, and hardware are different. Mine is purple and I bought it in the early 90s. I've heard people call it the Batman guitar on more than one occasion.

I also have a Yamaha folk acoustic guitar, a Rogue acoustic electric, and most recent toy purchase is a Washburn 7 string.

I don't want you to meet anybody on ChiefsPlanet. Would ruin the entire vision I have of you as a person.

Unless you end every sentence with the word "fax," you've built yourself up way too much.

Nope, no Rickenbackers. I don't get calls for that type of music and I really don't compose that type of music.

A few guitars that aren't in the pic are a Fender Jazz Fretless bass, Reissue '57 Les Paul Junior, Fender Nashville Tele, Epiphone Elitist Broadway (with Gibson Classic 57's) and a Godin 25th Anniversary acoustic.

As for jazz, Kenny Burrell is probably my favorite. "Freight Trane" with John Coltrane is awesome.
