Is Brandon Albert proving some of the draftniks here right?
So far this season he has not looked very good. What do you think it is? Is he a LG and not a LT (like some draftniks here insisted)? Is he going through sophomore jinx? Is it the weight loss?

Regardless what I watched the Raiders do against San Diego was concerning their front 4 was physically dominating the Chargers line.

At the risk of being redundant, I'm going to say again, Albert is just learning technique, something he didn't have the chance to work on last year in OTAs and TC because of injuries.

The result was that he was able to show what he's capable of with his natural athletic ability.

But to ascend to the next level, he has to learn how to play the position.

The problem is that he is going to struggle for a few games as a result.

It's also very possible that Albert had issues last year and they were masked by Gailey's offense because that's what it was designed to do.
