Question for you men
UPDATED:

Got an area reserved at my dad's favorite sports bar, and I have some guys at the post office helpig me spread the word about his surprise. I've got my uncle, aunt, and one of my cousins coming so far, too. I got him a Chiefs Safari Hat, but he knows he's getting that since it's the only thing he's asked for.

Surfing online. Looked at the complete MASH series on DVD, and looked at MacGyver as well. Still surfing and thinking of ideas for something that he doesn't know he's getting.

Oh, and I have a slightly higher budget. Looking at about $150 or so.

I bought him a starter kit about 10 years ago, but he never used it.

I just have to face it, he's either Chiefs or something practical.

to keep him in free beer for the rest of his life...

just think of all the fun you'd have and you could meet new people at the brewers conventions or whatever they call them...

of course i might see the chiefs in a superbowl again in my lifetime... *sigh*

anyway, i'm sure you'll come up with a good idea for his birthday and it's really terrific that you're putting so much thought into it...
