Franchise tag deadline is tomorrow at 3pm.

Is it possible they are letting both players walk? Haven't heard a thing.

Trade down or Geno. A CB has never gone #1 overall.

I still think that they work out a deal with Bowe and they let Albert test FA to set the market. The only way they could tag either one of them is if they cut Cassel or Jackson in the next 5 hours. They literally can't afford to tag either one of them.

Guessing trade down or Floyd. If we keep Bowe/Albert on offense, chances are Dorsey and perhaps Jackson are both gone. Need to replenish the dline at that point.

I would put it at:

5% Geno Smith
35% Shariff Floyd
20% D.Milliner
40% Trade down

The team would love to trade down. Too bad no one wants to trade up. We are stuck.

But the Chiefs will be about $7.5 million under the salary cap when the league year begins on March 12 because they have $14 million of unused cap space from the 2012 season to carry over into 2013. That effectively makes the Chiefs’ 2013 salary cap about $137 million.

They can tag whoever they want. The 2013 league year hasn't started yet so the cap as of now doesn't matter. Not until the 12th do they have go be under the cap. Al they can tag someone today and the cut Cassel/Jackson anytime before the 2013 league year and they'll be fine.

Well....it doesn't look like they're going to tag anyone unless they're doing it way behind the scenes and not even telling either of the players.

At this point it'd be smart to tag Albert.

Which means they won't...
