Neil Smith - Superhero, supervillain, or something in between?

The discussion in the Derrick Thomas thread makes me wonder about the consensus on Neil. I think we all know the story of Neil, so I won't bother with a briefing.

It was. Tragic ending. The good guy died and the traitor won the Super Bowl a couple times. It was like a Saw ending.

Very negative....Neil Smith can eat a bag of on fire turds after a long night at the local Taco Bell binge eating chili cheese burritos dressed up with the fire sauce.

I'm not sure Kevin Gogan ever played in a football game where he DIDN'T take a cheap shot at an opponent's genitals. That guy was a lowlife.

Yeah, too bad the Chiefs weren't cheating the salary cap during those years, might have been able to pay him.

Neil Smith is a traitor. He needs to make his home in Denver. I have no use for the guy.

They did a one-hour biography of Derrick Thomas. Neil and several other key folks were interviewed, and it was great. Then afterwards they did a live interview with Neil where Neil made a number of comments that were very self-serving and appeared to be revisionist history.
