It's been real, it's been fun, but it hasn't been ''real fun''!

He wasn't a Montana/Favre/Brady when mentoring Mahomes. He could've said "f that ya'll traded up for him it aint my job to mentor him." But hes not that kind of guy, and made it clear he hated what he had to endure as a rookie.... Dude is a class act, and been a class act even knowing we are dumping him at the end of the season. He gave us respect. You gotta give respect to get respect. He earned my respect even though he screwed us today.
I agree he is a very classy person and I am glad he was willing to help Mahomes this year.

I don't think Alex screwed anyone today though. It was a team loss. Defense choked, special teams choked, QB choked, OL choked, receivers choked, coaches choked on playcalling, etc. Everybody played their part in the second half meltdown.

I wish him well but I'm looking forward to Mahomes. 10 years from now, most of you will wish him well too. Let's not forget, he was never close to Matt Cassel level of suck. Feel free to hate that piece of shit.
I've been a big supporter of his. Not fanboy level in the face of everything but I thought he got a bad rap.

End of the day - we lost again in the playoffs. Lots of blame to go around but he didn't win the game for us.

I think all Chiefs fans are hoping for the QB who drives the win rather than the one that doesn't avoid the loss.

Enter Mahomes. He may end up sucking, but it won't be in his quest to avoid the loss. You see that in his pocket demeanor vs Smith's.

Wins in the regular season just don’t matter if you can’t do the job in the playoffs. Safe has gotten us no where. Time to give Mahomes a shot. I’ve been watching the same shit my entire life. If something goes off plan we aren’t good enough to adjust. Mahomes has that talent to overcome that stuff IMO.

**** the "It's not always his fault" assholes.

When is it ever his fault? It's NEVER his fault with these twats.

I hate Alex Smith. If I were locked in a room with Alex Smith and three pissed off man-eating tigers, and if I had a gun with three bullets, I'd shoot Alex Smith three times.

He's gone. Given decent protection, he is a much above average QB. (Well at least in Reid's system.) He failed, like Green and Vermeil failed, but he really wasn't the problem.... The AS hate should be re-directed...

One things for sure he isn't going to the Ravens without a blockbuster trade. They're financially married to that bum thru 2020.

Bullshit.

Bullshit bullshit bullshit.

You hate Reid. I get it. Reid ****ed up. Quit saying "it's not all Alex's fault."

It is his fault. He needs to ****ing go way more than Reid does. If we didn't have Mahomes, I might be more inclined to agree with you, but we DO have Mahomes.

Alex is the true idiot, asshole, and cowardly vagina of this team.

Flacco should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Smith.
