You're exactly right. They're not doing shit for us right now and that's fine. Trade Baldwin and Moeaki to Baltimore and it's fine by me even if it results in the same scenario as I posted before with one becoming a probowler and the other a solid starter that earns acclaim for his production.
It's not okay if it's a trade to New England that already is a favorite son in the league -just the same as if it were Denver or Dallas or whoever has been in the spotlight in the last decade or so. Why? Because the deck is already stacked against Kansas City as it is. Dealing away pieces as is being discussed only serves to cement the status that the Chiefs (and, for the sake of the argument, the Royals) are nothing more than farm teams that only exist to harbor young and unpolished talent for successful teams to cash in on later. ****. That. Of course the NFL is different than baseball on almost every level. But that doesn't change people's perceptions. If the Chiefs start dealing players like Moeaki and Baldwin for draft picks to "elite" franchises then it implies they have no concerted drive to be contenders in the league and serve only as a proving ground for winning teams just to kick the can down the road and hope to contend with a roster of youthful prospects. And no, this is not an impassioned defense of either player in this scenario. Moeaki is exactly what we know he is in that he's a probably useful player with nagging injury concerns and Baldwin is an underachieving physical specimen. Trade both of them to Arizona for second rounders in the next two drafts. But the possible negatives of having either one of these guys become stars on an established franchise outweigh any positive that results from them being dealt. TL;DR trading them to a team like New England, Pittsburgh or Green Bay is as unadvisable as trading them to a team in the division.

Heard an interesting interview with Hali. Said that camp this year is "smarter", no one is just standing around, more team oriented rather than individual and that everyone on the defense now "has a bullet" and can take a shot

Picture of the QB's walking to practice, and another picture of the QB's warming up. Daniel doesn't appear to be with the other 3. Something up?

Bukaty just said on the radio that Cyrus Gray, Mike Catapano, and Colin Kerry have been carted off of the field this morning.
Just saw in the OP twitter feed that these were all mentioned. Sorry for Q

Yeah they are in the OP...but if you just wanna see how Bray has done:
Nick Jacobs@Jacobs717m Tyler Bray on the money to Josh Bellamy on the slant. Bellamy drops the ball. #Chiefs Nick Jacobs@Jacobs716m Pressure coming from Tyler Bray's left side. Stands tall in the pocket and checks down to Shaun Draughn for solid gain. #Chiefs Reid Ferrin@KCChiefs_Reid6m Time for threes, Bray is in, dump off to Draughn, then a later tuck and run Nick Jacobs@Jacobs715m Bray sees the pressure from left side. Adjust to hot route. Throws back shoulder for Jamar Newsome. Good adjustment by Newsome. Drops ball. Reid Ferrin@KCChiefs_Reid5m Bray to Josh Bellamy inside, then Tyler Shoemaker on the left, short gain Bray had made noticeable improvement in a short time. Not caught, but had a nice back shoulder throw. #Chiefs Nick Jacobs@Jacobs713m In the Redzone. Bray feels pressure to the left. Good job steeping up into the pocket. Throws a dart barely over throws Demetrius Harris. Nick Jacobs@Jacobs712m Next play, Bray throws a dart to Tyler Shoemaker in the end zone. Greg Castillo strips the ball. #Chiefs
