An unusual situation is unfolding in Miami, where Dolphins right tackle Jonathan Martin has left the team after suffering an "emotional breakdown" this week.

NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported Wednesday that Martin is currently seeking help with his family after an incident at the team's cafeteria, according to team sources.

Martin is listed on the team's injury report with an illness, and is doubtful to play Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer reported that Martin was the victim of a prank at the cafeteria, becoming enraged enough to "smash his food tray on the ground."

The second-year pro has not been with the team since that time. Darlington reports that Martin immediately sought treatment at a local hospital. He has since left the hospital and is now spending time with his family, according to team sources.

Martin opened the season as the Dolphins' replacement for Jake Long at left tackle. He was moved to right tackle when the team acquired Bryant McKinnie via trade last week. Tyson Clabo is expected to start in Martin's place on Thursday.

According to reports, the woman cannot talk about it because she signed a confidentiality agreement, which involved Dolphins' lawyers. Signing a confidentiality agreement is common in pre-litigation. The issue is the Dolphins organization helping their “model citizen,” Richie Incognito.

After the golf pro is finished with this country, I am thinking about moving to Dubai, UAE - Spectacular city with its man-made islands and stunning skyscrapers, no taxes, Formula 1 races, and home to the most privately owned super cars in the world.

People are very respectful and you will feel as comfortable there as you would in most US cities.

Sorry, didn't mean to suggest he can't positional coach.

My take on Philbin is based on what I've seen and heard. Of course I don't know him personally. Most of us have never met Andy Reid or Todd Haley but that doesn't stop us from having a strong opinion. Among the media, Philbin has a reputation for being a robot. He gets accused of saying too little and even in response to the bullying claims, gave a canned response. From what I saw on hard knocks, the guy seems socially awkward. That includes a clip of him cutting chad ochocinco which was brutally awkward. I've seen players throw their coaches under the bus repeatedly, and Philbin hasn't really stopped it. There are also stories of in fighting between coaches. Finally, the way the incognito situation was handled. He decided that a guy with incognitos history should be put on a leadership council. From what we've heard (and maybe this is wrong but I doubt it) it sounds like there were plenty of warning signs that Martin was a ticking time bomb and that the dolphins leaders poorly handled how to dismantle it.

If you or anyone have stories to suggest otherwise, persuade me. My opinion is well thought out, but of course it's not based on personal experience just like 99% of what's written on cp.

Dubai sounds like a great place to live. As long as you avoid smoking, kissing, drinking or eating in public, and extramarital sex, you should have no problems staying out of prison.
