That would be an epicly bad deal.

WTF, you trade a potential 20 game winner or and Cy Young award winner and a .300/15/85 OF for 1.5 years of Davis/Orlando? That would be a fireable offense.

We won 2 WS in the last 10 years, 5 straight years in the playoffs. Why should we mortgage our future? We are not desperate. Take this shit year and start again next year.

Bader looks like the real deal. Weaver and Reyes look like they are ready to start in 2017. The cover is not bare. Besides Reyes in the bullpen in Sept. the help isnt on the way this year.

I'm surprised they pulled the trigger. Maybe they learned something from the Izzy, Franklin etc fiasco's?

I was okay with how fast they pulled him. for whatever reasons, closers getting yanked are a big deal. You never know if they get it back together or their replacement can get the job done. You don't pull them then maybe the players start whispering who has their back?

Reminds me of a QB change. If the guy isn't getting it done, give someone else a chance seems like a simple concept for everyone to understand.
