Those things a pretty damn annoying. I have tried to make beer stops on road trips and run into them. Figure living in one would be pretty rough.

I have tried a lot of bad nut browns. Usually they are too sweet for my taste and the nut flavor too overpowering.

I'm still not a big fan of ale.

I've only ventured from boring domestics in the last year or so. I used to drink only Miller Lite because it "had more flavor". A buddy that owns a bar got me started on Boulevard Wheat. Now I try and try new things, but it's a slow process. Broadening my horizons, one bottle at a time.

Trying new ones you will run into some pretty bad beers but the good ones you like make it well worth it. If they sell Odell brewery stuff around you may give them a try. The 5 barrel pale ale is a kind of a better version of fat tire.

Stayed in tonight and ended up drinking on a cheap bottle of Cotes du Rhone that ended up being pretty damn good.

A friend and I learned an important lesson about doing saki bombers at dinner last night.... don't.

He and I were fine, of course, being's we're raging alcoholics. The girls, on the other hand, were messes. Mine considerably less than his, of course. I guess that's what he gets for dating a 20 year old.

The walk down Scottsdale Rd was amusing, though.

Saki is on my list to try; just haven't gotten there yet.

I didn't even know what it was before I moved to Arizona. Then I thought it was always served hot. I only recently learned that the cheap shit is served hot, the good stuff is served chilled. (Yay asian girlfriend)

So... get the cold stuff.

If you're still typing that well after a game of three man, you don't know how to play.
