Guess again, peckerhead.
Matt Cassel has played in 78 games. 2,044 career attempts. Alex Smith has played in 80 games. 2,177 career attempts. There isn't a whole lotta ****ing difference....except Cassel throws more TDs......in fewer attempts.

One thing that makes me think Alex can actually be more than a game manager here, is that although Harbaugh has had success with QB's (Luck, Kaep, Smith etc), his system isn't really built for the Qb to excel.
He's a power based fundamental football coach, that has alot of experience with the QB spot. They really are the 90's Chiefs with a better QB. |

I think Albert is a decent LT. Top 10? Eh maybe. Starting to believe he isn't when looking around the league. PFF ranked him 17th and he was in a run first system. Maybe Reid doesn't think he'll fare as well in his aggressive passing offense? I'm tired of him being injured nearly every year too. Alex Smith may have had injury problems too, but unlike Albert, there is no solid replacement for him at this time.

He'll put up some nice fantasy numbers and grade out perfectly, I'm sure.
