Tony Bennett reportedly being offered 4.8 million a year at Illinois. Wow. Good time for him to move, I guess, with some key pieces of his UVA squad leaving after this year... but I wonder if Illini fans will be satisfied if he continues to build his excellent squads without top 50 talent?

Porters back to Mizzou is a possibility. Romar may find a soft landing in Seattle - I saw that Seattle U fired Cameron Dollar. I know his wife loves it there and has no interest in moving. No longer have to hope UW finds the cash to pay him to go away, in that case... but you still have to hold off other programs. I suspect Mike Porter Sr will get a job offer from Bill Self or Roger Morningstar, among others.

Wow, that is a major offer for Bennett. That would all but lock Martin to MU if he is MU's #1.

I can live with Cuonzo, but I can't get excited about him.

If not Crean (or, giggle, Marshall), I'd probably rather take a shot on an up-and-coming mid-major guy. But at least Mizzou will probably win its 20-23 games a year, finish top 5 in the conference, be an 8-10 seed and maybe win a game.
