It's a great show. I'm kicking myself because I missed most of season 4. I caught a couple episodes, (including the last one) so I'm pretty much caught up. I guess they'll probably re-air them at some point before the next season kicks off. |

so there has been a lot of talk about The Wire on this thread. Did anyone have a hard time in the transition from season 1 to season 2. Everything is making a lot less sense right now.

The Wire thread.
P.S. Season 2 might be my favorite. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=206100 |

I just bought Season 4 on Amazon for 20 bucks. HD instant video for the PS3 is awesome.
I didn't get into the show until a few months ago. Season four was bad ass. The final episode was terrific. I guess season 5 will be the last and it sounds like they are breaking it up into 2 parts. It's air date is early July, they will go 8 episodes then take 4 months off and do it again. If true, that really sucks. |

So, I haven't read anything in this thread yet. Just wanted to drop by and say that I finally started watching this last night. Watched the first two episodes of the series. Obviously, it's incredibly interesting and amazingly acted.
I'm really interested to see how they can keep this thing going in an honest way without getting too contrived. Because, honestly, after everything that happens to him in those first two episodes, I have no idea how Walt doesn't just say **** it and bail on this idea. What could possibly keep him going?! Is cancer enough? |

I think that this will be the first final season in history to exceed expectations.

It wouldn't for me. I despise the shit out of Hank. I think the most interesting development will be Walt vs. Jesse. That will be fun to watch.
