If we had to face the Astros in the postseason with our current starting pitching, we have no chance. Their flaw is strikeouts and no one in our starting staff is capable of striking out the opposition with consistency. Pitching to contact against a team like the Astros is just asking for an ass-kicking.

If they won the wild card, it'd probably be Kazmir/McHugh/Keuchel/McCullers vs. Volquez/Duffy/Guthrie/Ventura. Unless Ventura turns it around, good luck.

Everyone say a big thank you to Jeremy for cementing Dayton's decision on trading for a starting pitcher.

Who's our best pitcher right now? Edison. The guy who came in at the start of the season to be our #3 or 4 in the rotation.

Baseball is a game of averages, and eventually you're going to level back out to your average. Whether you are in a slump or on a streak.

We're not going to catch anyone off guard and underestimating us like last year's playoffs. So, who gets the ball if you are looking at a must win game?
