Denise, here's your warning...

We have a longstanding policy here that if you're not contributing to the football board at all, you're not a productive member.

I just ran a cross-section of your posts, and you've talked less football in the last few months than ClearVision.

You yourself said you're just not passionate about football anymore. A quick glance at your posts suggest that if you're that narrowly focused on human interest stories and politics, there's better bulletin boards for you to frequent.

And before anyone comes running in screaming about how unfair this is, it's happened before. We've banned multiple people under this very same premise.

I guess I should have paid more attention to Denise over the years to really see what all the fuss is about.

I still stand by my notion to put her on ignore if she gets under your skin that bad. So what if someone quotes her? How many of those do you really ever see?

And if SHE HERSELF is on board with this, I really think everyone else should probably shut up.

I think you are missing the point. I'm not looking for someone to justify her being here or not. I object to using the obscure old rule that people must post football related topics because (a) I think it is outdated and the nature of the board has changed, and more importantly (b) I'd prefer if she stayed in DC and didn't talk football.

Which Parker found a loophole around, and now you're unloading on him after he did something that falls on your side of the fence, that being finding a way of keeping Denise. Aim the guns at the people who deserve it, not the guy who found the compromise. Because if he was part of the supposed "mob", she'd be gone and this thread would never have existed.

Ouch, somebody on the hot seat ? With a comment like this, you will have plenty of takers but few will stay with it when on the hot seat.

As for the " almighty one " ? Since Phil stepped down, you stepped up and many of the members see you as the authority of the BB now, at least the most active and vocal of the mods.

Don't take it personal, it's a tough job and IMHO, you do well. We have had our diffrences in the past, but it's just that, nothing personal. One can't be a mod and have tender feelings......

So and go back to your nonranting post !

Your comments are ignorant and have no basis in fact.

But you don't have to worry about it. I'm in the process of removing my mod status.
Well you've admitted yourself that you had to do the same to the GM guy. In that instance the ignore functions works really well. He wasn't PMing anyone or anything.

Same for Believer. Ignore function worked really well as long as he kept his posts in the appropriate sub-forum.

Funny how none of the other mods ban/ threaten to ban others active or not. Not saying Phil's shit didn't stink but banning someone would've never been a topic because of a Inet dispute.

I don't care whether she stay or goes but I do care about how someone would have to meet YOUR level of standards and/or participation just so they can stay aboard.

The more I think about it. You could've pm'd her this. It seems like you bring most of the attention and troubles onto yourself.

Ringleader was the very definition of a troll. The guy almost never posted in the Lounge.
at one point he would come over to the lounge and start 1 thread each day ..... just to meet the football requirement.

what was very funny was that he started this 1 thread a day ......... 2 days before the announcement/threat came out from the mods about possible banning for lack of football discussion.

you think one of his mod buddies game him the heads up about what was coming.
