If Homestead crumples under the weight of her ceaseless, unfounded whining, I intend to devote even more time to the site and move it to another host.

What began as a 2 hour project because it was too hot outside to do anything else has been transformed into a mission by Denial's refusal to accept that she's wrong. (What a shocker that is.)

Well, since I used to work in the "user abuse" department for a large ISP, I figured I would weigh in here...

1) Homestead won't do ****. Denise is exactly the kind of person we HATED to hear from, we did whatever it took to avoid them.

2) She has ZERO legal legs to stand on. She can't sue anybody over this, neither can Gannon.

Honorable mentions include Gaz slamming Ernzen a couple of years ago when Ernzen was looking for a new job, and of course, Tim Nunya's classic post last year just before the Chiefs played at Mile High (pooping the vending machine helmets).

I've made some minor changes to the web site that clarify my position as a Chiefs fan and correct typographical errors. I have also joined the <a href="http://www.eff.org/blueribbon/">EFF Blue Ribbon Campaign</a> and placed notification of such on <a href="http://kcgannonstalker.homestead.com">The Site</a>. I have been an active supporter of the EFF since its inception but have not felt in years that I might benefit directly from their support. How things change in the Land of the Litigious (and the home of the CHIEFS!).

I see that Hank has posted some material on the other board that I've already seen (and am sure that something will skew adequately to support its position). I stand firm in my belief that none of the material on the site is libelous, and it will remain available until I have either been substantially threatened with legal action or Homestead removes the site.

The part of the reference Hank omitted in his post, however, outlines that while it may not be illegal to link to another web site without the site author's permission, it would perhaps be ethical to remove the link if so requested. If proper effort is expended to request the removal of the link, I will comply. Until such notice is received (and public defamation and outrageous, unfounded claims do not count as "proper"), the link remains as-is.

To date, I have received no notice of any kind from the author of the lampooned site, the author's representatives, Rich Gannon, Rich Gannon's representatives, BraveKids or Homestead. With one vociferous exception, I have seen nothing but support for the site. It is greatly appreciated.

Through another user's kindness, I have made arrangements for transfer of the site should it disappear due to Homestead's action.

I would also like to add that while this entire string of events probably seems trivial and somewhat juvenile to some (the reference to Jerry Springer is accurate, I feel), it has in my mind become greater than that. What was initially created with the idea that its life-span would be less than 3 days and be viewed by perhaps 30 people, has spawned something about which I feel strongly.

The vehement protester has not expended one bit of effort to communicate its displeasure through traditionally accepted means, nor has that person attempted to obtain any mutually acceptable solution. That person has, instead, chosen to scream "lawsuit" from the very beginning.

To that, I quote Stan from Southpark:
