Injuries are part of the game ... Most play hurt ... Money wise we're screwed, ownership in the NFL is cheesy ... Profit is it's name .....

It'd be nice if he was good enough to make it back for a few of the preseason games.

No, God hates the arrogance and presumption of mere human beings blaming him for affecting their entertainment while the world is embroiled in so many serious crises.

If you are going to mention God, at least respect His job description.

Yeah, I really don't think god gives a shit about the Chiefs, or any other team for that matter.

Nor do I believe he has anything to do with injuries or the outcome of games.

VARSITY
From Formerdb:

I stood four feet from Glenn Dorsey and the trainers as they worked on his knee. For the life of me, I couldn't understand why the other reporters were not trying to listen as I was. I stood just left of the camera guy for the Kansas City Fox news station. I listened in to the dialogue between Dorsey and the trainer.

Dorsey laid on the table and the trainer grabbed his left knee and took it through a series of bends to test the ligaments. The head trainer pulled Dorsey's bottom leg forward and pushed it back, then looked at his assistant and said "it's tight, it feels strong." Then he moved the leg from side-to-side, testing the other ligaments. He sensed the normal give in the knee but asked Dorsey if it hurt. Dorsey said "naw". Then Dorsey pointed to the spot where it hurt (right side of the knee which is inside). The trainer put his thumb on that spot, applied pressure and Dorsey said "right there." The trainer's eyes got big (as if to say that's all there is?), he then told Dorsey he tweaked his knee.

Based on what I saw and heard I thought it was a knee bruise, certainly not anything torn. But that's why they have MRI's, to get the true evaluation. The good news is that Dorsey walked a good distance from the field to the locker room under his own power, albeit a limp. Had it been torn inside, he would have either hobbled or been carried off on a cart. Just give him time and cheer him on as he fires it back up.

So,,,, it seems to me a certain individual walked on a torn ACL for almost a year recently, winning several golf tournaments (w/o a cart) and a couple of majors during that time.

I woukd include his name but I'm sure nobody has heard of him.

Being able to walk does not mean the injury is not serious.

That actually sounds pretty positive.

Hopefully he's only out a week or 2.
