Today was a good day for the Chiefs. Clearly Pioli will no longer call any shots for this team again. That's all I care about. For all we know Hunt and Pioli are negotiating a buyout and he'll be out in a few days or weeks. Sure it's a guess, but it's just as valid as just thinking Hunt is full of crap.

Yeah, I can't emphasise enough how uncredible this source is. Anyone that knows of Marty Tirrell knows that there's nothing to worry about with this story.

Marty does his radio show from a show room of a car dealership. He's friends with Bob Ryan, which is his Patriots source. They guy is an ass, and is wrong most of the time.

I will only be watching the Chiefs games the first half of the season if Clark Hunt says yes to hiring a 4-8 college football coach. That would be worse than the time Peterson hired Herm Edwards 7 years ago.

If Hunt is in fact "negotiating a buyout" of Pioli's contract before he shitcans him, then the day that happens, I'll gladly eat crow and sing Hunt's praises.

I sincerely hope your theory is true, but as of right now, Pioli is still employed, even though he "clearly... will no longer call any shots".
