Will the SOC fire up if no QB in the first?

Just curious. I hope so because it would royally be depressing.

If and that is a big if, Foles is traded by Philly I do not believe it says anything about his level of talent. I think it is more about Chip's system and can they get something close to what they spent on him. If CK doesn't think Foles will work in what he wants to do, then why keep him if you can get something for him. Foles was drafted by Reid not CK. If he has talent then they could keep him, of course, but I'm not sure Foles can do what CK demands of his QB. If Reid wants him then he must be able to do some things Reid likes.

I, personally, have not seen enough of him to say he is great, terrible or in the middle. I just thought some of the "no" discussions were strange.

Chip Kelly already said Foles can do what Chip Kelly expects of him.

He said Foles would be competing for the starting job.

I think people are confused about what Chip Kelly's system in the NFL is going to look like. It's not going to be full-on Oregon football.

It can't be.

I got ya and I honestly am taking the wait and see attitude. I will say I like Wilson's heart. Anybody who can stand in the pocket (not Cassell BTW) and take a pounding like him I can appreciate. That does lead to other questions though. Smith seems capable but his games against higher competition makes me question him a bit to. Right now, if the FO makes a decision on what they see I will support that decision 100%. Either way it is a crap shoot. I just want high draft talent with top picks. That is what we haven't seen.

Yeah, it's funny to see people saying they'd take Foles but they won't take Geno.

Fair enough but if he is good enough to compete for a starting job, and we all know Vick gets injured a lot and backups are important then why would they even think about a trade. And if they did trade him and he is good enough to start why only a 3 or 4?

There isn't any blue chip talent in this draft.

That's part of the problem.

Well, Philly has adamantly denied they're trying to trade him, so that might be a good place to start.

Foles is EXACTLY LIKE Geno. Except bigger and slower.

And not nearly as accurate.

Statements like this just prove you don't watch college football.

So you ARE a racist.

Let's stick to the comparison at hand.

Explain to us how Geno is SO different from Nick Foles.

Educate us since you obviously know so much more about this than we do.
