Just found a JoCo Sheriff's Office notice on my door
Says there's a "court notice you must pick up ASAP".

Wonder what in the world this could be?

List of possibilities on their website includes:

Writ of Restitution (Evictions) - my rent is not delinquent
Special Writ of Executions - don't think I have any sort of outstanding debts
Service of Protection/Stalking Orders - last I checked I'm not stalking anyone
Vehicle Registration Enforcement - everything up to date
Delinquent Tax Collection - everything up to date
Foreclosure Sales - not applicable
Divorce Orders - not married

Any other possibilities?

Yeah. I checked back through my accounts and it looks like I did miss a payment that year (how, I don't know).

The thing that has me concerned is that I never received any notices from the state. I've had some issues with mail since I moved in September 2012, like a paycheck from a client taking a full month to arrive, and some smaller expected stuff not ever showing up recently (specifically a book of coupons from Walgreens), so I'm wondering if it might be time to have a word with the post office.

Either way, paying it isn't an issue. It's not knowing I needed to pay it and now having a tax warrant in my name that kind of pisses me off. I could have paid it at any point in the last year had I known.
