Rumor Brandon Marshall to chiefs for second rounder

So would you guys make this trade

Personally I'd rather go Joe Haden or Cameron Wake

This part of your post is a bit too absolute. It was the case last season, but we don't know this to be true again this season.

Either way, your overall point is valid. Aside from Maclin, there is not enough established talent at WR to scare defenses or make any of us legitimately comfortable.

The problem isn't WR depth, it is that the QB doesn't have the balls or skill to target WR's down field consistently.

Alex has days where he is on and getting one on one matchups and has some accuracy like vs Oakland but if he misses on a deep ball or 2 he goes back to throwing to whoever (whomever?) is open at the LOS. That is why you see days where Alex has thrown to like 7 different receivers.

It works until you face a good D.

Brandon Marshall isn't anything more than a #2 WR now but he would be good for 0-7 yard passing game Reid likes to run though he will have a couple drops a game. Even with Macklin and Marshall Alex would still be dumping it off to Ware and the 3 TE's because it is safer.

I don't man, last year when Maclin got hurt things were awfully lean.

of course this year is better, Conley is better and Hill has replaced glass DaT.

Maybe ...

Sick of people throwing out Conley as an example of a playmaker, or even a WR for that matter. I think there's a little too much homerism there. When people in other parts of the country start recognizing his name, grabbing him up in FF, or mentioning him on TV...we can start calling him a decent WR. Hill has at least made an impact, shown a spark, gotten on other teams radars. Currently our weapons are of such, JC/Ware, Maclin, Kelce, and Hill. Harris has arguable as much of more impact than Conley, and don't even mention Wilson to me. I want all of our guys to be great too! There just not, yet.
