Wow that's bullshit. Phil gets the best out of his players, superstars or not, I'm sure he would've done great with Philly. I'm a diehard Bulls fan and we know how good Phil is and I, for one, miss him. Phil is the best coach in the NBA and arguably the best ever.

MJ was like a teenager with a sweet ass sportscar that didn't grow up and know how to use it until Phil came along. He was out of control in every sense... leadership, playing, etc, but Phil helped put him in check. JMOs though.

Phil did the same with Kobe and Shaq, IMO. There is nothing wrong with getting greatness out of greatness when those great players were, in a lot of peoples' eyes, underachieving. It doesn't matter how you do it. Either getting the best out of great players or getting overachievement out of lesser players. Phil has "it." Winning is winning. He didn't have to win all those titles. It doesn't matter who's playing as long as you win, and he does just that.

Funny, I thought part of a coaches job was to make arriving attractive. Apparently the players believe in him not to mention other coaches raving about him over the years. I guess nobody knows what they are talking about except you. Next thing I know you are going to say Kobe is overrated.

Kobe is rated about where he should be. In the pack with Larry and Magic.

I didn't know Phil aquired or drafted Kobe and Mike.
