Anybody who wants to make a last minute move I've got cbs and 3-4 DEs/4-3 DTs and a LT that can be on the block. Not to mention willing to deal draft picks, for and away.

Actually, I sim the games directly on the server. You guys see them as soon as I do.

I don't have a good way of testing sims right now. So I'll probably take the whole site down so I can chase down any bugs in the first group of sims. I haven't had time to do my game planning so I'll have to do that too before running the sims. Could be 10 or 11 EST before they are posted on this first round. I still have a couple of hours worth of database building to do tonight before we'll be ready. I probably won't get to the roster issues until the first week of sims are through.

The databases are all ready to go.

Now that all that work is out of the way, I'm looking forward to the sims as well.

Where you damn near blew me out of the water was with Nick Barnett.

When I realized you were making 'defensive' trade demands on Bradshaw (needing more from me than you would anyone else), I started working on the CJ deal. I saw Barnett was still out there and had generated literally zero bids two weeks into the FA period. I figured I'd try to sneak him onto the roster and then would gladly have made the 2nd and Reed for CJ swap.

You bid him over my remaining FA budget even though you clearly didn't need him. Once I couldn't get him or Leroy Hill (I'm firmly convinced that people are waiting for players to get bids on them and not doing their own homework at this point), I had to get more creative.

I really thought that losing out on Barnett and Hill was going to keep me from having the roster depth to find my RB.

What am I missing on Leroy Hill? I signed him for 15 originally, and then just couldn't find room on my roster for him. Seems like he played well in 2012, but he still hasn't even found a home for 2013, has he?

Were you guys just looking for a one year rental, or are you relatively certain he's going to catch on somewhere? I thought there was a pretty good chance he would, but I didn't think it was worth keeping him around to see.

I just wanted him for a rental. Like I said, he would've been a capable replacement for Reed if I needed to deal him and couldn't get a LBer in return.

I missed out on Barnett to get my Guards and I dick pick up Hill as a rental. I was pissed off I lost him but I cant complain with the LB's I have now. I needed the interior of the line solidified even more so...

So my OL now looks like this:

Sam Baker - Paul McQuiston - Will Montgomery - Mike McGlynn - Andre Smith

Backups - J. backus (lt), K. Urbik (g), J. Goodwin (c)

I need Jamaal to run crazy...

LB are a 4-3 D with R. Jackson - D. Johnson - Z. Brown w/ L. Hill and Manny Lawson backing them up

So now that FA is over, who got the best steal? It's probably not in the running for best overall signing, but the one that pisses me off the most was Clay getting Garrett Reynolds for $1. He's not a pro bowler, but he's likely to start in 2013.

I was in need of a guard but let him slip off the board early while I was chasing 4 or 5 other guys.
