Yea. I would agree with that. If I remember right, it started out as more of a pure sci-fi film, then had its budget cut. So it ended up set in a modern world with an outrageous premise.

I don't remember that; I just couldn't get past the idea that switching facial skin would make a person look identical to another person. Never mind teeth, eyes, bone structure, physical body characteristics, etc. Felt the same way about Darkman, which was dumb as **** for the exact same reason.
