Ross bailed out, and that's exactly why you WANT him to drive. His game isn't great -- hell, it's hardly even good -- but as Knight just said while I was posting, something HAS to happen when he drives. Tie goes to the runner, such as it were.

Watching JW3 is so frustrating, because it's clear he has so much potential. He's got the position down and the vertical to pull so many boards, but I think he may lack opposable digits or something, because he can't seem to grip a ball to save his life.

He has terrible hands, and that's not something you can teach.

Yeah, assuming it's a habit and not a product of nerves. You'd think if it were the latter, though, that would be solved by 20+ games into his freshman season.

It's not just rebounding. He can't catch the ball, and he can't shoot. He's actually a remarkably terrible shooter. He just doesn't have any coordination in his hands.

I think Mike Silve must have put out some sort of a memo to SEC refs explaining how he expected that all teams should be at double-bonus by the end of each half or you're not doing your job.
