Man V. Wild producer suffers severe snakebite

Yeah, yeah. I know. There are people off-camera helping Bear out, giving him a Snickers, letting him stay in hotels - I won't argue. I don't even watch the show anymore.

Unfortunately, a producer on the show is dealing with the reality of doing a reality show in the wild - he suffered a snakebite, and it's not pretty.

Sucks to be this guy.

Yes, I'm bored. It happens when you trade a CB for a FB.

Looks like it was a Bothrops.

Suspected it might have been something like that. Here's a pic of the culprit.

And here's an old pic of some of the tissue damage these guys can induce. Nasty, wicked ****ers. Warning, NSFW

That's why you have to cut affected tissue, clean the area, and start them on an Immunoglobulin antivenom all simultaneously.

I didn't even know the show was still in. I quit watching it about the time the hotel stories came out.

It broke my fragile lil heart.

What hotel stories?

Good Lord though, cannot believe rattlesnake venom can do this. Rattlesnakes are so commonplace, too. Scary stuff.
