So, what are our chances of winning the division?

Did you see that juggernaut out there?

That Denver team is way better than last year's version. Manning is better. Their receivers are better. Without three of their most important defenders from last season, the Donkey defense turned Joe Flacco into a shit-eating rape monkey.

That team is a serious Super Bowl contender.

What are we?

Your chances of winning the division are slim. I'd be focused on the wild card.

I didn't think we could win the division with my prediction of seven wins. More than seven wins this year is just a bonus.

This I completely agree with.

Manning is the greatest regular season QB of all-time.

But even if Denver smokes through the regular season (+-14 wins), they will run into 'complete' teams in the playoffs and if Manning is not in AAA form, they will go down.

I don't see Manning winning a title this year with that defense and he will have to win a lot of shootouts as well.

The 7 td's last night was the greatest performance by a QB I've ever seen though.

It sure as shit didn't look good for us.

If we don't win this division, then I just hope that we only win enough games to feel good about it without having to give up our second round pick to the ****ing niners.

I can see The Mannings winning it all. As long as you have a Manning, you have a chance...Last year was just a tune-up and they benefitted by other AFC contenders losing down the streatch. It was always the plan to be in a real position to win it all year 2 and beyond. I'd say they're right on schedule.

Exactly this.

NE, Den, HOU, CIN are likely going to be division winners. KC will be grouped in with Indy, Pitt, Balt, & maybe Mia for the two WC spots.

absolutely no way manning holds up to throwing 40 times a game for 16 games at age 37. That team is solely on his neck. He goes down, theyll win 2 games the whole season. Their running game is bullshit, their defense really is bullshit too. Thomas is definitely a ****ing stud though. big baller.
The ravens are a completely different team than last year. Its the first game of the season and denver was at home. They were fired up. I'm going 10-40% just because denver can definitely sweep oakland and most likely sd and split with us thats 5 games for them right there. Weve got a chance though. Were a more well rounded team. Lets ****ing wait and see what we look like the first 3-4 games of the season. We'll know who we are this season by week 4, no doubt. Im still drinking the koolaid. Weve got a good team.

There isn't one single "complete team" in the AFC right now...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Denver looks great.
I also remember Buffalo looking like world beaters stomping SB champs NE 33-3.
Its a long Season Peyton is 37 Yrs old, and like Hamas said, the cold will start to affect him.
We play them late in the season both times.

If we played them tomorrow......****.

I don't think there is a more complete team. There's a reason they are easily the pick to go to the super bowl.

Having said that, they have jack shit for a run game, and at some point that could come back to hurt them.

Colts are still rebuilding. No confidence in that defense.

Bengals are the best (IMO) on this list. They have talent everywhere.

The Texans have everything they need but at least two or three pieces break each year. Qb is hurt or Johnson is hurt or the HB is hurt or the stud LB is hurt or the stud DE is hurt. This team constantly has top 5 talent in the tub...
