Madden 2005 -- funny stuff...

I decided to start a franchise in Madden with the Chiefs and instead of playing the games for the first (2004) season, I would sim them to mimic what has happened in real life.

Right now, I'm starting week 4 at 0-3 and here's a couple of gems.

Chris Bober and Jason Dunn are demanding playing time or a trade.

But these are the funniest:

I checked my Advisors screen and amongst other things, they're saying "The sports radio shows are ripping the team new one" and "We've got cap room. Now's not the time to be frugal."

A freaking video game is smart enough to figure it out, but the braintrust at 1 Arrowhead Drive isn't?

You guys should take the step up from my All-Pro sliders to my All-Madden sliders...

I'll have to give it a shot. The only problem with the All-Pro sliders for me, is it's impossible to throw deep. The QB just has no arm strength

Depends on the QB. I can throw amazing bombs with my 99 THP QB. Green's deep ball is a little less impressive. He can throw a nice 45-yard bomb though.

I guess it's Delhomme. he's got like..87 THP. 99 accuracy though.

Im wondering something though on my sliders whenever my QB Casey Clausen goes back to throw a lob pass the ball is either going out of bounds or left of the receiver, and Clausen has improved to where his awareness is 82 throw power is 88 and throw accuarcy is 90, so could someone please explain that to me, plz.

Try stepping up in the pocket and release the ball after a couple steps.

when you move whilst throwing, it's horridly off target.

Well my feet are set when i throw it ... but i get the same results ...
