You're also forgetting that we were cheering for losses because wins did NOTHING for the team. They only entrenched Cassel and Pioli as the rightful masters of the team. We needed every single one of those losses.

The #1 overall pick will NEVER cost you a QB, because if he's good enough to be thought of as a potential franchise guy, he's good enough to be taken at 1.1.

and if he is taken, (any qb) and you miss completely on him, that sets your franchise back 3 years minimum, because its going to be at least 2 years before they truly give up on him. Thats why you have to be sure.....

Bowe hasn't played every game the last few years and he got a deal. I don't think it's injury problems that is the sticking point, if it is it wasn't really smart to franchise him
