The SCAR and the M1A1 are both good guns. The best assault rifle in the game is the ACR but you don't unlock that until level 60 something. The M16 is a poor man's version of the Type 95.

Don't even mess with the shotguns unless you plan on leveling them up to weapon level 28. Every one of the shotguns are absolutely worthless until level 28. (Except the Striker, but it is getting patched soon)

Not really. Once you have the damage proficiency, shotguns are pretty deadly.

Recon is good if you are on a team with friends, those grenade hits will mark everyone..

No Doubt. I'm in such a bad habit of reloading after every kill that I get killed way too many times by the SECOND guy coming through the doorway during my reloading process. At least Slight of Hand helps me out a little.

You said M1A1...I don't see that one...were you talking about the M4A1? I'll try the SCAR out some and see how it goes as it levels up.

The Striker will still be good. It is the best shotgun in the game right now and it isn't even close.

Follow @fourzerotwo on twitter (he is the creative strategist for Infinity Ward). He has mentioned a "probable" patch to the Striker a couple times and said they are discussing buffing up the other shotguns.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Once you get the pro version, bullet damage marks them as well. But then I realized, once I start shooting a guy, who gives a shit if he's painted? It's very rare that I don't kill the guy once I start shooting them anyway. I guess it could help in the few instances where they scurry behind something or kill me before I can fill them up with enough metal... But still not worth having over SoH.

It was hilarious having to level that perk up though. You need to "paint" 120 enemies with explosive damage to unlock pro. So I start off just using grenades, trying to still go positive and save my k/d. Then I realize it's going to take ****ing forever so I go full reerun and throw on the n00b tube and RPG Those guys had to be so pissed! I literally just ran around trying to blow people up, all game, every game. Still ended up going neutral or slightly positive just about every time too.

Is it me or have people started camping a lot more lately? I've had about 2 or 3 positive games in the last 5 or 6 that I've played. All because of some pussies hiding in a corner or lying on the ground in kill confirmed or domination. I don't get that mad when people camp in TDM, but in Kill Confirmed or Dom, that shit pisses me the **** off.

I swear to god I have the worst luck in MW3. I was actually thinking of editing and posting a compilation vid of all of the terrible luck I have in this effing game.

I'm always the guy who flanks around the map, only to sneak up on 3 guys of the other team and someone spawns right behind me to kill me before I get any kills.

I'm the one who is 1 kill away from starting a nice Pred missle > Airstrike > Reaper Assault streak, when the last kill I need the ****er has Dead Mans Hand. That is 6 deaths in a row people!!!! What are the odds of ME always running into this no good prick?

I'm the one who spawns into a random grenade, then spawned again into an airstrike, then spawned again only to walk around the corner and get quickscoped.

I'm the one who takes out two guys and there is always a third when I have to reload. Or take out 3 guys and there is always a 4th.

I'm the one who uses Assassin, Silencer, and Dead Silence.... yet somehow my opponent will just randomly turn around to accidental see me getting ready to knife them in the back and shoot me in the toe to die.

I will be 1 kill from a MOAB and the game will end.

I will start a match 13-0 in the first 1:20 seconds of a match only to have the host dashboard.

There is so much bullshit that happens in this game that I rarely find myself ever having any fun, yet I'm addicted to playing. This game is evil.
