There was a guy on another forum that tried to not do DST. It worked for about two weeks. It was just too much trying to ALWAYS remember what needed to be done and where.. He lived very close to a timeline too.

DST has its place. Great during the summer-
It should not have been used as an energy savings plan and expanded.

There is an article that talks about Russia wanting to move from 11 times zones to 7.
So all of the sudden the world does not revolve on its axis in 24 hours.
