What are the chances we make the playoffs?

A variation on my previous "win percentage" polls:

What do you think our chances are of making the playoffs? Just to reiterate, that can happen in one of three ways:

1. We win out.
2. We drop a game, but so do the Chargers.
3. We lose out, the Chargers lose out, and the Raiders lose to the Colts.

Go.

I was kind of surprised to look back in the annals of KC seasons to find out that the Chiefs have only won out at home in the regular season in 93, 97, and 03. Only time they've won out in postseason was in 93...

I'm checking my math.

Twice.

I see also that the margin of loss (vs division teams) vs the Titans is under 6 pts.

This is good.

The only problem is that they are side by side with us on pts allowed, passing yards allowed, rushing yards allowed.

There's no real defensive edge here.
That's where home field advantage comes into play.

If we make it into the playoffs it's absolutely great, if we don't we still have made more progress with the team than anyone expected.

We make the playoffs and I'll pop the cork on the champagne. If we don't I'll probably still pop that cork.

Trying to guess the unknown is almost like telling someone to piss into a electric outlet. Until the season plays out there is no way of guessing other than SWAG's. If anyone said we aren't going to make it does that make them a bad fan? If everyone says we definitely are going to make it are we all nothing more than homers?

This season has gone better than anyone would have suspected after the pre-season. With a record of at least 9-7 you would think the fans would be ecstatic over last year. With an 11-5 record they will be in the playoffs, another quantum leap above where we thought we would be.

Regardless of the final record we have cause to celebrate as fans and something to look forward to next year. (unless your are GoatCheese and then he says we will be 4-12 again next year because we are frauds)
