I guess if success is managing to turn around a dreadful team, and keeping the seats full thereafter, then he's a success in Lamar's eyes.

While Carl deserves a great bit of gratitude for now allowing the Chiefs to remain as they were..........

There comes a point when you're either moving forward, or just treading water. I think we're at the point where Carl should recognize this and perhaps align himself in a different capacity withint the Chiefs organization.

I certainly don't expect a playoff berth year in, and year out...but holy crap.....gimme one SB appearance (I'll take a playoff win for now) before I die.

Can't argue with anything in this post. Taco is absolutely right. As long as the moronic season ticket holders keep paying, Carl will be all snug in his office chair. The team's play on the field has no affect on Carl keeping his job or not, but the money that the Chiefs are pulling in does. As long as we keep paying, as Taco says, Carl will have a job with the Chiefs.
