Today's game is being aired on "61 Country", 610 WDAF am.

Good start so far. 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the second. Hernandez is pitching well (not quite as sharp as the opener, though, he might get in trouble), and the run scored on a great demonstration of situational hitting -- double (nearly HR) by Tucker, sac bunt by Relaford (starting for Randa) and deep sac fly by Sweeney.

Sweeney is a fighter. He fouled a ball off his ankle last night and it leaves a big lump. All says is, "A little chink in the armo."

He wants to play 162 games this year.

Besides the fact that I'm a Royals fan and also want him to play 162 this year, I traded for him in my fantasy league and it would be beneficial on that end also.
