Throwing up your arms is pretty much a red flag to the referee that "HEY! I DID SOMETHING STUPID!" whether you did or not. Whether it was a dive or not, giving the appearance of holding from the ref's point of view and putting your arms up afterwards was all on Brian Strait.

That's definitely overdone these days... it's useful at times when someone is holding your stick, but there's no point in bringing attention to someone who's already on his ass. It's been a surprisingly good series though, and at times the Isles are beating them at their own game... and the Pens are making the same mistakes defensively as they did last year.... not sure why they've reverted back, since they were much better balanced for much of the season, but it's fun to watch for someone who doesn't have a dog in the fight.
