With his lack of savvy in front of the media, Dorsey is the perfect type of match for a coach like Reid. The latter will always be the face of the franchise in terms of coaches/FO types, and Dorsey is essentially forced to stick to what he knows and does best, acquiring personnel.

Pioli used to talk about wanting the coach to be the face, but that was disingenuous bullshit; he wanted the accolades and attention.

Dorsey's ineptitude with the mic obviates this potential problem.

I've watched this interview twice now and while I can kind of agree, I think it's more a lack of preparedness and inexperience than anything else.

He kind of has that "Dickhead High School Football Coach" vibe to him but I chalk that up more to confidence than being a dickhead.

In his first press I sensed his dickness.

I am thinking that if Hunt had interviewed Dorsey before Ried, Dorsey wouldnt have made the cut. Ried sold him to Hunt.


We'll know in a few months I guess but I'd ****ing hate it to have him as my boss.
