She's a 4.3 student. She's in 4 honors classes. She's in marching band, junior captain of the pom squad, instrumental chorus (choir made up of people also in band), in 3 dance classes outside of school, teaches two others, in the AVID program (college prep), a member of The Key Kids (charitable organization made up of high schoolers), is in the school musical, is Mary Poppins in the fall dance recital (12 dances, 3 solo,) is doing a solo dance that is going to nationals in Texas for one of her 3 dance classes, works part time at my radio station and reads to first graders on Wednesday mornings.

This Friday she got an assignment to find two songs over the weekend that fit 2 criteria of the last book her class read in Lit class. She had a band competition 100 miles away on saturday. They left at 8am and got back at 11pm. Sunday she had musical practice 1p-6p followed by pom banquet at 6:30p.

I've been in radio for 23 years so she asked dad for some help. The songs I suggested didn't fit so I asked CP for help.

Should I feel bad about trying to help her?

Btw she had the breaks done on her truck Friday and paid for it herself... her insistence... from money she made from working part time.

Oh and she's 16 years old.
