I tend to agree that Flowers is gone. It makes no sense for him not to be there unless he's just making sure he doesn't get injured before hitting the market June 1.

yeah, they mean little to nothing, its just the guys getting familiar with one another and learning a playbook. Anyone that looks more into that is just wasting time.

They should keep Hali the first half of the season and then flip him at the trade deadline to a contender for a decent pick, and let Ford play out the rest of the season.

By then we will be sinking or swimming anyway and Ford is clearly a Day 1 starter on almost all other 3-4 defenses

NFL players don't get traded at the trade deadline. No point in doing so. I don't think there's been a marquee player traded at the trade deadline in the past decade or so. It just doesn't happen.

He's a pass rush specialist who lined up solely at one spot in college. He's not ready to start.

What I mean is Hali is pretty much a one trick pony in the NFL. He has turned out to be a pretty good player for only having one really good trait.
