Yeah, from what I am told. It is easier to play multiplayer on the smaller screens since you have less to cover.

I don't really have any issues with Watch Dogs... the hacking stuff is corny and the story line is kind of dumb after a while, but the game is beautiful (especially the water) and the gameplay seems fine... along the lines of GTA. The online hacking concept is kind of cool... I suck at it, but invading other people's games is neat.

I'm kind of annoyed with Assassin's Creed Black Flag though... it's the first one I've played (not sure why I never got into it... the history aspect seems cool). The gameplay kind of sucks... the guy will climb on anything for no reason and some aspects of the missions are reerunedly strict (climbing to the top of the church without much in terms of exactly where to go, tailing two guys where 10m is too close but 15m starts a timer to get closer before you have to start over). It looks great and I just need to get used to some of the quirks... and I've heard after the first couple of hours it opens up quite a bit and isn't so mission based, which will be nice.

I liked AC black flag for a while... Sailing around while the crew works and sings was cool. However, you could only upgrade the boat so much. I wanted one of the big assed man of war types.
The missions did suck after a while so I traded it in for GTA.

Assassin's Creed is repetitive as all balls. I played 1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations but have recently taken to just watching the "game movie" on YouTube.

I still get my fix of the alternate history story line but don't have to play all that monotonous bullshit.

They really should look into making a CGI movie like the intros that all the games have. I think that could be pretty amazing.

Sunday Ticket is coming back to PS4 and PS3...

Quote:
Are you ready for some football? Now that the NFL preseason kicked off this past weekend, I’m excited to announce that DIRECTV’s NFL SUNDAY TICKET is making its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Starting today the NFL Sunday Ticket app will be free to download from PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS3. All existing DIRECTV subscribers who have the NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX plan will be able to live stream every out-of-market NFL football game every Sunday afternoon this regular season in full HD.

Existing NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX subscribers will also have access to DIRECTV’S RED ZONE CHANNEL at no additional charge. RED ZONE delivers the final yards of every scoring drive and other exciting moments from all Sunday afternoon games as they happen, and it’s a great way to stay on top of the day’s highlights.

If your fantasy football team is your pride and joy, the NFL SUNDAY TICKET app includes up-to-the-minute stats to help you keep track of every play on the field. If you play NFL.com fantasy, you can follow your fantasy team in real time while watching games Sunday afternoon. And the new DIRECTV FANTASY ZONE channel provides NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX subscribers with the ability to easily view the day’s most important fantasy plays.

If you don’t have access to DIRECTV, you can live stream every out-of-market NFL football game this season on your PS4 or PS3 by getting NFL SUNDAY TICKET.TV MAX ($329.99) or NFL SUNDAY TICKET.TV CONSOLE ($239.99). For more information, please visit DIRECTV.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/...day/#sf4356283

I had no idea that Playstation was going to get this again, just kind of figured that if it did come back to consoles it would happen on the Xbox because of their deal with the NFL.

It does kind of piss me of that they always wait until the last minute to announce these Sunday Ticket deals, and they don't tell you if this will be an ongoing thing. They had Sunday Ticket for two years and then didn't have it all last year.

I love this statement... "If you don’t have access to DIRECTV,"

Who doesn't have "access" to it. Its satellite for crying out loud.

this is the whole reason I won't even look at them. I don't want to be stuck with a shoddy signal every time it rains.

By the way, that link is broken or they pulled it down.

I switched to DTV last year because the ticket wasn't available on the Playstation anymore and the signal rarely drops. It's only went out once or twice in the year I've had it, and when it did go out it was back on within 30 minutes.

Their tweet linking to the article is still up on their twitter, but yeah the link isn't working.

All I know is that my father has DTV and it goes out if it even sprinkles. He has had them out three times and they can't fix it. I am not paying for that shit.

Only if we still had skip.

Going to throw out a guess. Is the receiver thing on the front of the dish tight? Seems to me rain, would jar it and knock out the signal if it were moving a lot from the drops.

He either has an older installation or something is not working correctly.

Both Dish and DirecTV have made considerable improvements with rain fade.

Now if they'd only make improvements in billing and customer service.

It was installed last year. Its not an old installation. Its not even heavvy rain that kills it. sprinkles kills it. He has had three techs come out and finally gave up. He will be leaving the contract as soon as it is up. customer service sucked because all they would say is don't know what to tell you.

Yeah, that's a faulty unit or installation. It takes a pretty heavy downpour to interfere with a 2W BUC, which is primarily what is used nowadays from what I recall.

Well, then they keep sending out the inept techs then because after three tries none of them have fixed it.
