If I remember right the Chiefs opened the game with a bomb for a touchdown.Everyonde expected the usually run oriented Chiefs offense. |

I was on vacation and happened to be in Cincy and was going to a Bengals-Oilers game.I'd gotten around late and walked into a bar with my Chiefs gear on and heard someone yell CHIEFS!Ended up being a guy who was a transplant from KC and we finished watching the game together.

I remember kicking Denver's butt on the last game of the regular season and going to the playoffs. Also that was the first year I really got into Chiefs football was in 2nd grade. Been a die hard since.

I'll bet that Carter is the only Chief ever who scored the first time he touched the ball. (Am I remembering that right? I seem to recall that he returned a punt for a touchdown in his first game.)
