Philly Cheesteak Sammich in Wichita
I used to love this place called Sub & Stuff... they had the best friggin philly cheesteaks in history.... well, Wichita at least.

Since they have been closed down for several years now I have had to endure several restaurants who "think" they can do a philly right. So far noone has come even close.

Anyone here know of any good places that make a good philly here in Wichita?

Either that or a killer Pastrami & Swiss sammich.

I just called my junk food expert in Wichita, and he said he knew of none.

We have a little franchise chain up here called Charlies. They have an awesome Philly. Everyplace else around here puts Italian beef under some cheese and passes it off.

The brothers that owned it sold out, one died and the other is retired. His daughter had a bar over on south meridian named Kristys or Kristens something like that. He would cook the Oasis burger once a week. That has been a few years back. The Oasis lounge serves just another bar hamburger now.
